I’m Samantha, and I’m thrilled to start this blog, My Expat Journey – Expat for Expat, dedicated to sharing real experiences, tips, and stories for fellow expats.

Over the years, I’ve lived in several countries, and each move has taught me something new, not only about the world but also about myself.

From adapting to new cultures to learning new languages, my expatriation journey has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding.

Languages have always been a passion of mine. I speak French (my mother tongue), English and Italian fluently. I have also a good understanding of German, Luxembourgish and Spanish. I’ve found that mastering even a little of the local language can make a huge difference in settling in, building connections, and truly feeling at home. Language is more than communication it’s the key to understanding a culture from the inside.

That’s why today, I teach French to expats. After experiencing firsthand the challenges of living abroad, I wanted to help others feel more confident, connected, and integrated in their new environment. My goal isn’t just to teach grammar and vocabulary but it’s to help my students understand the French culture, communicate naturally, and enjoy daily life in France or Luxembourg.

Through my classes, I combine language learning with real cultural insights, practical tips, and everyday situations that expats truly face. Because learning a language is not just about words it’s about belonging.
